You can see a little bit of the lining on the edges but it's not bad for a first.
The lining is cotton canvas and the outside is suede except the front panel which is red satin with black lace. Four meters of plastic boning was used for shape.
I wore this to Manifest 2007, there was a whole Soul Calibur group there. This is mostly made from cotton and lace, the fascinator, also known as "stupid-little-hat-thing" was the hardest part.
Not owning the game, finding images to work from was a bitch!

The tail is attached to the dress and I made the ears too. I bought the shoes and gloves and the other accessories were gifted to me.

I made her costume and she make my weapon. Damn right! We're a team. Would have made the sleeves bigger but I ran out of pink fabric.
She made her own acessories.
Red top-stitching is on the black, black top-stitching is on the red. The button holes are all hand-sewn and there is a dragon transfer on one sleeve. The fabrics used are cotton shirting in red and black.
My Second attempt at Alice. The skirt is too flared and the dress is too short. My hair and eyes are also wrong but you'll get over it. This was worn to Supanova 2009 on the Saturday and not entered in any competitions.
Some of us may be more familiar with Boobarella from the Simpsons.
It's my own spin on Elvira realy, I don't have the hair or the shoes and the dress isn't an exact replica either.
The dress is black velvet, the belt is black cotton canvas lined with white canvas, eyelets are in the back laced together with red ribbons. There is also a little bit of spring steel boning inside the belt.
The next logical Step after the Elvira dress seemed to be making a Morticia dress.
Now I just need to learn how to dance the tango.

For the birthday of the very sexy Masokissed I made this black velvet top.
It ties in front just under the bust and has split sleeves.
For Greg's 21st I made him this shirt, a lot of people liked it, I was glad, means it actually looks like a shirt. The red is some kind of cotton shirting and the black is polyester suede. It buttons up the front.
I made this collar because I wanted something with hoops in it. But I don't really like it anymore.
I guess it can be a sample or practice piece. It's made from pieces of an old back-pack.
Manifest costume for 2007. I've not seen much Galaxy Angel but it's a group cosplay event I was invited to join so I did. I cut way too many corners with this. Don't want to talk about it. Don't leave things to the last minute. I don't have a wig, may hair wasn't long or pink enough to get away with it.
I cosplayed with Claire as Forte Stollen and Lizz as Ranpha Franboise.
A skirt made from soft white cotton and black velvet. There are lace details and silver trim on it as well.
Mostly it is a sample made up of scraps left over from older projects.
I made this when I was going out to some clubs in the city with friends and realised I didn't have any collars to go with my outfit. It took about an hour to make.
I'm addicted to cute Kitty things. Especially big bells and ringed collars.
It has a hoop on the front for a leash as well as a large bow and bell decoration. It fastens at the back with a bow.
The vest is made out of black velvet, red satin and lace.
The sleeves were pants in a previous life and a red ribbon is edging. It's lined with white cotton.
