25th Birthday Box: 2007 marks the 25th birthday of the beloved Hasbro toy series My Little Pony. Way back in 1982 they released the first six ponies; Snuzzle, Blossom, Minty, Butterscotch, Cotton Candy and Blue Belle. Those six are pictured here on the back of the 25th Birthday box. There were two of these box sets released with three of the original six in each. |

The set that I got
contains Snuzzle, Blossom and Minty. And the combs for their hair. The other box, incase you couldn't guess; contains Cotton Candy, Butterscotch and Blue Belle. I wanted this particular set for two reasons; one being that I already have Cotton Cany and the other being that I share a special connection with Minty, but didn't have a 1st generation of her. Now I do. |

They are in the original moulds complete with the flat feet, original combs and robbons in their tails. I couldn't leave them in the box unfortunately, I'm not one of those hard-core collectors. I mean I do tend to keep the packaging it's just I like to hold my toys and play with them properly. But I also had to take these out of the box to see if they had the flat feet and what year was stamped in their feet. Would it be 2007 or 1982? It was 2007 just for the record. |

In the old mould
they all look a little sleep deprived and depressed. And Snuzzle looks
dirty. She's kind of grey rather than white. Images of the individual ponies are up in the other MLP section if you want to go and check them out properly. |

25th Birthday Edition
Pinkie Pie: other collectors hate me for what I do, photos of her out of the box in the MLP section. There are four of these special edition G3 ponies. I Chose Pinkie Pie because the streamers are coming off her balloons and she has an exciting balloon bracelet. The others weren't quite as rad. The design of the boxes for this set are different to the normal pony boxes. These are kind of bag shaped and ... awesomo. I have no idea but it scared me a little at first. |

3 Pony Plate: Sunny Daze, Pinkie Pie and Sparkle Works all on a heart-shaped plastic plate. |

Pony T-Shirts: Sun Dance and Sorbet Suprise T-Shirts from JayJay's Retro range. Mel gave me one and Inge gave me the other. |

Spring Treat: In 08' I'd like to study fashion at Box Hill so of course I had to attend an interview there to judge wether or not I be worthy. After all the stress I decided to go on an op-shop adventure and this was the only pony I found. Infact I found two of them. But only purchased one. Not even purchased, the op-shop lady just let me have it because it's so small. I have two others from this set (out of a total four), they're McDonalds ponies, you know, with the Happy Meal and what not. |

Advent Calendar 2007: Merry Christmas pony lovahs. The chocolates are the same as the ones in the '06 version (including the one that can't possibly be anything other than the Tardis from Dr. Who) but the cover itself is different. Too bad I didn't get a picture of the back of the '06 one. I threw it out. Anyways, this features Royal Bouquet. The figuire version of this pony has a raised cutie mark. Theres also a castle, no doubt its a picture of one of the many MLP casle playsets. |

The back features
a fun filled activity, you get to cut out the cardboard and hang it on
your door. The choices of "Shh... I'm sleeping." Or "Ready to play."
I've deffinitely seen cooler ones with violence but they were probably
Transformers. Same brand, different toy. Although this one does have
Rainbow Dash. I think the '06 one had pictures of ponies you could cut out and hang up like a mobile or something. |
