Ribbon Wishes, Flippity Flop, Lavender Lake and Bay Breeze Mini Pony 4-pack:
Four mini ponies, Ribbon Wishes, Flippity Flop, Lavender Lake and Bay Breeze. I think Flippity Flop is a bogan pony, she has a nice pair of going out thongs (flip-flops) printed on her behind.
popcorn cinema front Popcorn Cinema:
The Popcorn Cinema, run by a pegasus pony by the name of Star Song. If that name reminds you at all of "Star Scream" from Transformers, do not be alarmed, for both franchises are infact owned by Hasbro. Some really do share the very same names, especially the older ones. Transformers had a better television series though, probably because Hasbro didn't make it, unlike the MLP series.
Anyway, this came with two "movie tickets" which are totally disproportionate to the rest of the playset, more on that later. You get the tickets checked under the window, there's a little slot and everything.
popcorn cinema back The back features a run of film. The movie is "the Runaway Rainbow" and I can only assume that actual scenes from the movie were used since I have not seen that particular movie.
The entire cinema is shaped like a popcorn tub, incase you didn't notice.
popcorn cinema pieces Inside! Tadah! There's a balcony with 2 seats and cup holders, an extra seat which can be moved and two cups of drink. Note the complete lack of any popcorn? I suppose they climb onto the roof and eat it off there. Or maybe it falls down onto them. Either way I don't envy the cleaner. I never do in the case of popcorn explosion.
The cups of drink clip onto their legs.
popcorn cinema and starsong And here we see why the movie tickets are so obtrusively large. See on the reverse side of them is movie images so you slip them into the cinema screen. Oh how exciting!
It reminds me of one time when I was little I made a cardboard "television" for my toys with slips of paper that contained the type of crappy fanart 6 year olds do of their favorite TV shows. It was awesome, there were like 8 different shows for them to watch.
Continuity Error 4X MLP Set, Continuity Error:
This is an actual link because my brain could not handle anything less! You must click it for the full effect of the image!
This is my second continuity error this week, I dunno if it's just the week or if it's going to become a normal things for me but look at this crazyness! In the box, what I purchased is clearly the toy ponies Star Catcher, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Windy Wisp. On the back though? Oh none of that! Sure, Pinkie Pie and Star Catcher are there but what the hell are Kimono and Sky Wishes doing there? Yeah... it all seems a little suspicious to me.
4 dvd set 4X MLP G3 DVD's:
A set of 4 DVD's; Friends are Never Far Away, Pinkie Pie and the Lady Bug Jamboree, Dancing in the clouds and A Charming Birthday. You could almost assume that these DVD's explain away the continuity error for the box and figuirines they came with. Almost. So why didn't the package contain the ponies depicted on the box and DVD's huh? Why? WHY?! WHY MUST YOU TORMENT ME SO!
I Kind of want them to be in full proper DVD cases.
Pinkie Pie Medium Plushie Pinkie Pie Medium Plushie:
A medium sized Pinkie Pie plushie. I got her fom an opp-shop for around $4. She's very soft and cuddly and in good condition, but I doubt she could've been owned for long. The date on her label is 2003.
She has probably been carted around by her neck a lot since all the stuffing has separated from it and it looks a like it's broken if you try to sit her up straight on her own.
She looks fin in this image because she's leaning on a chair.
Sew-and-So Sew-and-So Plushie:
I described the Pinkie Pie above as "medium" but I'm not sure where this type fits. She's smaller than the Pinkie Pie but bigger than the two smaller plushies I have. Perhaps there are two differen't sets of plushies, sinkie Pinkie Pie has fur for her mane and tail but this one uses Wool. Like the singing Minty. This one here is infact the same cut and style as singing Minty but without the singing. She came from an opp-shop for around $2.50.
MLP Rainbow Dash bag My Little Pony Shopping Bag:
The good thing about those "green bags" they have at the supermarkets now is that they're awesomely marketable just by sticking a big-ass print of some popular character or brand on the front.
Mum got this one for me, it features Rainbow Dash on the front and the G3 MLP logo on the back.
It actually looks to be very handy for carrying around my large folios at TAFE.
I got another one of these for my 20th birthdax, which is good because eco bags aren't particularly sturdy and the one I've been using for TAFE is starting to deteriorate.
