monkey d luffy Monkey D. Luffy:
A local toy store recently got a few One Piece action figures in. They seem old-ish, the copywright on the packaging was 2004 I think. Still, couldn't help myself.
This Luffy one has rubbery arms. I suppose so you can stretch them, however they aren't that stretchy really, I can imagine a lot of children just tearing them right off. His hat is totally removable and so is his vest if you feel that way inclined.
roronoa zoro Roronoa Zoro:
From the same set as the above Luffy.
You can take his swords from his hands and put them in their sheaths but he looks awkward when he's not holding them. If you push him forward and let go then he does a back flip.
His legs look kind of awkward, it annoys me. Why couldn't they just release... I dunno, like Barbie style dolls or something? Like they do for Sailor Moon and Disney Princesses?
It occurs to me that only the male characters are available in these action figure sets, mostly only Luffy, Zoro and Sanji. Although there weren't any Sanji at the toy store, he's listed on the packaging of the others.
super cup box Super Cup:
Just the packaging, because I love packaging and advertising, you know how it is.
Vin Chibi gifted me this package.
It contained some type of pills for boob growth. They're imported from Japan, not available in Australia. What is it when it's not legal to sell here but it is legal to import or have? No idea.
Typing this makes me realize that both the word "box" and "package" have dirty alternate meanings. This fact cheers me up some.
I don't know why I put this in the "Nerd Toys" gallery. Keeping in mind; I haven't slept right for near 2 weeks. Maybe 3.
spike spencer signed manifest pass Manifest Weekend pass - signed by Spike Spencer:
Sabi got this for me at Manifest 2010, she was working the S2 Maid Cafe and when herself, Kako and Sevenpies were having a break they met Spike Spencer, who apparently took a liking to them and got them into the VIP after party.
I'm not big on celebrity stalking, I always assume important people are either busy or rude.
But you know I love Neon Genesis: Evangelion and Shinji... Or I am Shinji and I like Kaworu... if you catch my drift.
No, seriously, Spike Spencer is the English language voice actor for Shinji Ikari so y'know, Sabi thought of me because I'm unhealthily obseesed with Evangelion.

...I am so doing maid cafe next year. But I'll be a trap butler. Oh yes.
