City Girl (CAD/Design assignment) -
Clubbing: Part of a combination assignment for my CAD and Design classes at TAFE. All of the sketches, inspiration, colours and fabric samples were done in design class and the images were drawn in Adobe Illustrator. Though I've edited them in Photoshop for the internets. We also made "Mood Boards" for them in design but I've decided not to post those here as they included things from magazines and DVD/Game covers which may have bought up coppywright issues. This is her clubbing outfit, she's a fictional client who is a video game character designer, so she gets awesome game inspired club outfits. |

Summer Dress Design: The design for my summer dress project at TAFE and some swatches of the fabric and trims. There are 3 different fabrics, some lace trim for the skirt and sleeves and ribbon to tie the sleeves. This project spanned across 3 classes; design, pattern making and machine. The dress itself will be posted here once it is finished. |

Winter Breeze Colourways: We were instructed to design a range for a brand we would not normally wear or purchase. Difficult, no? But I guess it worked for me since I got a high distinction. There are 2 different colourways for the range. |

Muddy Paws "Kittens and Candy" Page 1 - Mood Board: My childrens wear assignment for my CAD and Design classes. I named my brand Muddy Paws and called this range Kittens and Candy. Yes I am aware that most of the images on my mood board are of MLP's you don't need to point this out to me. All the photos were taken by me from my own cloection and edited in Adobe Photoshop CS3, |

Page 2 - Colourways: Really there is only one colourway and I"ve just switched things around for one set to the next. And changed the pattern repeat background color to dark blue from light blue. Created with Adobe Illustrator CS3. |

Page 4 - Print/Pattern Repeats: The pattern repeat was created in a diamond shape rather than a square shape to make it more difficult for the human eye to spot where the edges of the pattern are. The paw-print repeat is a brush stroke and the kitten repeat is a fill. Created with Adobe Illustrator CS3. |

Page 5 - Placement Prints: Placement prints and logos which were used in my range. All were drawn by me in Adobe Illustrator CS3. Generally I turn these Images into symbols so that I know they're all the same. |

Brush Test: For Christmas '08 I received a new set of make-up brushes, so I had a play with them and here are the results. The base is a light powder foundation which I applied with a sponge, I then brushed light pink over my chin, nose and forehead. I used light red to blush my cheeks and shades of pink and purple with glitter around my eyes and lightly across my nose. My eyebrows were darkened with a Kohl pencil, I used a shiny black liquid eyeliner and dark purple mascara. For lips I used black lipstick and lip-liner. |

Mega
Spudz Attack: A sweet potato was left in the cupboard for a little too long and grew some tentacles. Some of my mini Ponyville MLP's are there to investigate. It's gone now, I'm not sure if it was cleaned up by someone or if it got up and left of its own accord. |

Kittens in Winter - Mood Board: The mood board for my children's wear project, the first assignment in my illustration class at TAFE for first semester 2009. It's a photo of my cats Muggsie and Tiger which has been edited in photoshop and colour swatches have been added on the side. My colour swatches aren't great, for the next project I'm thinking of getting some of those paint chips they use at Bunnings. |
